“ Definitely my favorite Rochester Pizza so far! Love the Sauce! It's a little on the sweeter side. Totally up my ally! The pepperoni ratio was spot on. A lot of other places I've ordered from had more pepperoni on one side or hardly any at all. Great flavor. 9.7/10 in my opinion! Also ordered chicken fingers (medium). They let me know that their medium sauce was not like traditional Buffalo medium sauce. I figured I'd try it. It was interesting (in a good way). “ The setup is like any Hots place in town, relatively clean surrounding and bathroom. I ordered chicken and waffles since that is my favorite. It took ~25 minutes, and it would have been worth the wait if the food was great, but it wasn't so great. The chicken was very dry and hard to eat. The seasoning on the chicken was a little bland for my taste (but that is a personal preference). I was mostly disappointed in the dryness of the chicken. Otherwise the food was pretty good - the waffle was really tasty. And the portion was really good for the price. I don't think I would go back if I had the same experience, but it's a place where I might give another chance, or order chicken wings from next time, I assume they don't over cook it every time. ”

“ Rochester used to be home of several "Birdland" style restaurants, which were known for their chicken and their sweet sauces. Having moved out of the area in 2007, I forgot about this place until my father suggested it for lunch one day. We came on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't too busy though there were several take-out orders being prepared. The staff were friendly and the space was small and sufficient, even though it just consisted of some tables, chairs, a cooler and plastic silveware. I ordered a plate with chicken tenders, baked beans, and fried mushrooms, and topped with their signature sauce. Pizza was recommended to us on the signage so we ordered a slice or pepperoni (and were served two, or else they cut it in half... I don't know). The total was reasonable, and the food ready in about 10 minutes. Everything was fine as delivered. The chicken tenders didn't strike me as homemade but they were decent freezer-bag chicken. The fried mushrooms were again from a bag but I love them in any form I can get them. They poked out of the beans and sauce and got soggy quick. The baked beans were everywhere and I barely ate any. No point in doing bad things to your stomach! The sauce was very sweet and after about 1/3 of the plate it became excessive. Some birdlands have other flavor profiles to their sauce (like citrus) but this just tasted sweet and spicy, with the former the stronger influence. Coupled with sweet baked beans, it was cloying. And, as the mushrooms got soggy they turned candy like. Not good. The pizza was awesome. We can't seem to get that curling pepperoni out in the Albany area where I live so I love coming back to the Western NY area for pizza. The crust was chewy and fresh with a nice flavor, the sauce was acidic and sweet and fresh and not at all laden with dried herbs, and the cheese was a bit heavy but tasted like cheese. I really enjoyed this place, and hope to make it back again! ”

“ Really didn't think I'd enjoy this place as much as i did! You can get a one topping pizza for only 10 dollars on Monday nights. This isnt a small pizza either, it's large and cut into squares. And its really delicious Their subs are awesome. I get the chicken finger sub with lettuce, tomato, swiss and honey mustard on it and on the side!. They have the BEST honey mustard. Garlic knots were ok, but i like a lot of real chunks of garlic, not just garlic sauce. I also prefer a big fat knot compared to the little ones, But when no one makes them around here anymore really can't be that picky. Prices are standard, convenient location for me. I'll definitely be back ”
